Hi I am Kurtis Buck from Casper,Wy living Laramie to study electrical engineering. I lived in casper my entire life until now and a bulk of my imidiate family lives there as well. I went to Natrona County High School where I from graduated with full honors in 2006. I was a three sport athlete being captain of the football team, a state place winner in wrestling, and a soccer player. I decided on the University of Wyoming because it was the best fit for me and a great school for my degree. I play in almost every intramural sport and still find time to study and get good grades. I decided to become a SigEp because it is a great enviroment and all of the members personified what it means to be a brother. They greeted me in like a part of the family and I am very glad to be.

I'm a senior in Criminal Justice. This next semester I will be graduating, December of 2008, and I'm looking forward to see what is in store for my future. I'm currently looking for an internship this coming summer and do not want to be stuck in Wyo or back home in Kansas. I still have to figure out my future, whether that means Graduate School, Law School, or go straight into work after I graduate. This past summer I studied abroad in Tunisia, North Africa for two months. Here at UW I have studied Arabic for two years and plan on using my language skills to work for the government. I'm always active and busy with either sports or school work. At the gym playing sports or running is where you will find me 3-4 nights a week. My favorite hobbies are hunting, athletics, and traveling. I hail from the state Kansas and with home so far away I found another home here. SigEp has been my home and family for 3 years now and they will be years I will never forget.

I'm 22 years old and currently reside in Laramie, WY. I am a 2004 graduate of Sacred Heart High School in Vineland, NJ. Like most freshmen in college I was eager to be out on my own and enjoy my new found freedom. While attending my first school, Arcadia University in Glenside, PA; I abused that freedom and left myself dangling on a short thread academically. I decided I wasn't going to give up on myself and took a step backward in order to take two steps forward. I enrolled at Cumberland County College in Vineland, NJ where I obtained an AA degree in Elementary/Secondary Education, was named Mr. CCC by a panel of judges in the annual compettition and excelled as a Captain on the Men's Basketball team. I then decided to come to school at UW. Many reasons led me to come here and a few have made me stay. I never thought about joining a fraternity, but when the Sig Eps came recruiting, I felt intrigued. Now that I am a member, I've realized that brotherhood extends beyond friendship, these guys are my family. In my spare time, I enjoy writing poetry, music, art, movies, sports, and spending time with those that are close to me. I have an aunt and uncle that live in town who are two of the most wonderful people I could have in my life. My parents Doug and Suzanne who live in NJ are very supportive of me. I have an older brother Brian who lives in San Diego, CA. I also have a younger sister Jen, who is a standout tennis player and just a wonderful young woman. I currently work at the Early Care and Education Center as a Teacher's Aide, but when I graduate I would like to become a full time PE teacher and a basketball coach, with the hopes of retiring from both professions someday and opening a coffee house to enjoy during my remaining years.

I'm a 19 year old freshman here at UW. I come from a small, small town in Clay Center, Nebraska; only 900 people where everyone knew everyone and everything you do. I came to Wyoming to have new experiences and meet new people. During fall formal recruitment I definitely felt a home away from home with the men of SigEp and I look forward to all the future endeavors with my brothers. I am in the Freshman Senate and Criminal Justice Club. I am huge on sports; football, basketball, volleyball, baseball, slow pitch softball. I definitely put my academics first but that does not mean I still do not have a great time. I love sports so much I see coaching as a very good possibility in my future! I hope to become a great Homicide Detective for the FBI. Hey, I'm Keenan. I hail from the grand state of Nebraska. However, my entire life I felt I should have been born somewhere near the ocean because I'm a beach bum at heart. I spent the last summer in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina as an ocean lifeguard and I plan on returning this summer. Until then, while I'm stuck here in the midwest, I like to spend my time running, hiking, and playing sports when I'm not doing fraternity stuff or school work. I someday hope to graduate from UW with a Bio degree and a minor in Spanish. Sometime before then, I would love to travel to South America for an experience in a Spanish speaking area. I have a list of things I want to do before I die and an even longer list of places I want to visit. The Earth is a huge rock and I don't want to spend my whole life in the middle of the U.S.
